Multi-channel artwork supporting Sport Aberdeen’s initiatives

Sport Aberdeen is a registered charity, which delivers sport and physical activity on behalf of Aberdeen City Council, aiming to inspire people of all ages to stay active and engaged. Sport Aberdeen commissioned work to develop bold, adaptable campaign artwork, supporting their efforts to engage current members and reach new audiences across digital, print, and outdoor channels.

project brief

Sport Aberdeen required cohesive campaign artwork throughout the year that:

  • Encouraged people to stay active

  • Highlighted key USPs and seasonal offers

  • Were bold, on-brand, and instantly recognisable

  • Engaged audiences in both high-traffic public spaces and online platforms

Campaign assets to be adaptable across print, outdoor, and digital channels, including items such as: leaflets, digital billboards, bus rears, editorial press adverts, posters, social media posts and stories, social banners, and website banners.

The approach

Kickstart Your Best Year Yet – January Campaign

The creative concept centred on the tagline “Kickstart Your Best Year Yet,” using the shapes from the Sport Aberdeen fan symbol as a unifying visual element. Dynamic layouts placed central figures in engaging, energetic scenes, clearly communicating key messages while reinforcing brand personality. Assets ranged from large-scale billboards to handheld printed leaflets, ensuring consistency, adaptability, and maximum citywide impact.

The approach

Adventure Clubs – October Campaign

For the Adventure Clubs campaign, the focus was on engaging children aged 4–14 with fun, activity-based experiences, while motivating parents to book. Bright, playful visuals and dynamic layouts highlighted the club activities on posters and leaflets. The design balanced child-friendly energy with clear messaging to ensure the Sport Aberdeen brand was instantly recognisable and appealing to both young participants and their families.
